On Thursday, 22nd October, many excited students gathered ranging from Years 11 to 13 to take part in Equality and Diversity training in order to become ambassadors for the school.
The first session was based around equality - namely for members of the LGBT+ community. As well as discussing the fluidity of gender, many students were very interested to discuss matters such as identity in society.
Sale Grammar School is proud to have such an active community of students who want to raise awareness for social issues such as equality and diversity. The group plans to meet regularly to discuss issues such as racism, disability and sexism.
