Well done to the Senior Boy’s football team who were crowned Trafford Senior Boys League Champions on Friday night for the second year running.    After the bitter disappointment of losing the Greater Manchester Final the week, before the team bounced back to beat St Ambrose 3-2 to ensure they finished the season with some silverware. The final was held at Manchester United’s training complex in Carrington and was an extremely close match between two well matched teams. Sale got off to a flying start and through goals from Charlie, Dominic and Antonio, went in at half time a very comfortable 3-0 up. However, it was definitely a game of two halves and St Ambrose came fighting back in the second and scored two goals in quick succession to make the last twenty minutes very exciting. Both teams continued to have chances to score but Sale held on to take the victory.
