Year 7 and a parent/carer were invited to the Family Learning Textile Workshop on Wednesday 7th December in the Design and Technology Department. They explored a range of textile processes from pattern cutting to machine stitching to make a three-dimensional toy animal. The students enjoyed spending time being creative with a family member. "I have learnt new skills and done sewing with my mum, which I have not done for quite a while. " (student). " I enjoyed working together and being in school" (parent).
