BOC Science Challenge

Dear Parent/Carer,

We are entering a team of seven students into the BOC Chemical Engineering Competition. Your son/daughter has been selected. The competition will take place on Wednesday 26th May and Thursday 15th July at BOC Gases, Priestley Road, Worsley, Manchester, M28 2UT.

On each of the given dates the competition will take place in the morning between 9.00 and 11.30am. The students will be accompanied by Dr Davies and another member of staff. They will be transported to and from the event in a taxi. Pupils will be brought back to school by approximately 12.30pm where they will resume their afternoon lessons.

The students will receive participation certificates. Furthermore, accolades will be given to the winning schools and each member of the winning team will receive an individual award and prize.

There is no charge for this event; the cost will be met by the Science Specialism.
