Christmas Celebration 2011

Once again Sale Grammar School musicians and vocalists got into the spirit of Christmas with sell out concerts on 14th and 15th December and a Primary School Concert in the afternoon.

A selection of music including festive favourites and popular classics thrilled the audience and created a wonderful festive mood for all those attending.

Not to mention the delicious mulled wine and seasonal refreshments provided by the Modern Foreign Languages Department and its students.

Soloist, Year 8 student, Andrew Sheppard sang a wonderful opening to 'Once In Royal David's City'.

Each and every one of our musicians and vocalists performed to an extremely high standard on the night.

They should all be commended on their total commitment, always turning up to rehearsals in lunch hours and after school, proving their dedication to music at Sale Grammar School.

We are very proud of the long-standing history of excellent music making at this school and the standard just gets better each year.

Our Christmas concerts always ‘wow' the audiences with excellent variety, versatility of multi-talented instrumentalists and the enthusiasm and sheer enjoyment of joining in the finale with some rousing carol singing by all.

Another great success!

Below you will find a small compilation of the outstanding talents on show throughout the performances.
