Equipment Loan

The innovative equipment loan scheme gives our community primary schools the opportunity for students to gain hands on experience of a wide range of scientific experiments. This is particularly useful for teachers in schools where the cost of the equipment may mean that it is impossible for schools to have the appropriate equipment in their own schools.

The scheme operates either by the equipment being loaned out for schools to use in their own schools or by groups of students coming into our school to carry out the experiments. Many teachers prefer the option of bringing student groups to our school partly because a higher level of technical support is available but also because it exposes students to secondary school life.
