Go4Set Energy Visit

Your son/daughter is a member of one of the Sale Grammar School teams for the Go4SET project. Our mentor for this project, Mr Tim Horsley of AMEC in Knutsford, has arranged for us to visit their Science labs at the Renaissance Centre at Birchwood, near Warrington. The company visit is an intrinsic part of the Go4SET scheme and will be during the afternoon of Tuesday 8th June. There will not be any cost to you for this visit.

In order to attend this, your son/daughter will need to leave school at the end of period three (ie start of lunchtime). We will meet in the school reception at 12.10pm and will then travel to Birchwood using the school minibus in time for the start at 1.00pm. We will need to wear safety boots and hard hats while we are there and these will be provided for us by the company. The tour will finish at about 3.00pm and we therefore hope to return to school 3.45 - 4.00pm.
