Higher Education Fair GMEX

Dear Student and Parent/Carer,

On the afternoon of Tuesday 23rd March students in Year 12 have been invited to attend a Higher Education Fair at G-MEX. WE regard this as an ideal opportunity for students to begin the lengthy period of research into all the different courses available in Higher Education since every major U.K. institution will be represented at the Fair.

Students will be expected to make their own way to the G-MEX where we shall register them at the main entrance at 2.00pm. Further details will be issued nearer the time. We shall have until 3.30pm to tour the Fair. Lessons will be held in the normal pattern in the morning.

We would ask parents to impress upon their son/daughter the need to explore all the opportunities available at the age of 18 and not to rule out, at this early stage, the possibility of a course in Higher Education. For this reason, we feel that it is crucially important for all Year 12 students to attend the Fair.
