Dear Parent/Carer,

The University of Lancaster is running a GCSE oral exam practice day on March 13 2010. The event will run from 10.00am until 3.00pm, and transport will be provided to and from the venue from school. Students will have the opportunity to improve their fluency, and participate in intensive speaking and listening practice which will build their confidence. We believe that this is an excellent opportunity for students to boost their oral skills and enrich their studies.

We are offering students the opportunity to attend this event free of charge. It is important that those students who sign up to attend the course do turn up on the day as the school will be incurring transport and entrance costs.

If you wish you son/daughter to participate in the above activity please complete the attached reply slip and return it to Mrs Newsham by Monday 22nd February 2010.
