Lytham St Annes - Geography Fieldwork

Dear Parent/ Carer,

Fieldwork for Controlled Assessment for GCSE: Wednesday 30th June 2010.

I am organising a fieldwork day for the Year 10 students as part of their GCSE course which involves collecting, presenting and analysing data from fieldwork tasks as part of their controlled assessment, an integral part of their course. The visit will be to Lytham St Annes where students will undertake prepared tasks and their own independent research on aspects of tourism. This information will form the basis of their controlled assessment which is undertaken at school.

We will travel to and from Lytham St Annes with Coachfinder coaches. Students will need to be at school at the normal time and we will leave promptly soon afterwards. We aim to be back at school between 3.15pm and 3.30pm, depending on the traffic.
