Message from the Headteacher
All visitors to our school remark upon the friendly and positive relationships between staff and pupils. Visitors are equally impressed with the good discipline and behaviour we promote throughout the school. We work hard to maintain those standards because we value them and we know that parents do too. In addition, the Government has recognised us as a High Performing Specialist School and we now offer Science as a second specialism, alongside our main specialism, the Visual Arts.
To achieve such recognition requires the skills and abilities, from an energetic and enthusiastic teaching staff and pupils who are willing to work hard and strive for the highest standards. It also needs skilled support staff who share in the vision of continued improvement by providing invaluable and effective help to pupils and teachers. We are fortunate to have all those ingredients for success here at Sale.
Of course, there is no room for complacency here and we remind ourselves constantly that there are things we can do better. That is why we spend considerable time monitoring and evaluating what we do as a school and questioning why we do it. In this way we can provide a quality service for our young people and give them a first rate education.
Pupils who attend our school can regard themselves as very fortunate and they do. They are proud to be members of our school community and they enjoy coming to school. They benefit from a varied curriculum, excellent teaching and a range of activities outside the classroom which enable them to realise their potential in many different ways. They are provided with first rate support and guidance from dedicated staff and they have access to modern equipment and facilities.
Our aim, of course, is to make sure that every pupil enjoys school and succeeds because we care about each one of them.
