Museum of Science and Industry


Dear Parent/Carer,

During this year's Active Learning Week the year 8 students will be asked to ‘Create a new world for the 22nd Century', students will be looking at environmental issues concerning planet earth.

During the course of the week there will be team building activities and opportunities for creative thinking as well as input from a guest speaker on 23rd June. On Monday 21st June and Tuesday 22nd June during the school day we will be visiting the Museum of Science and Industry where the students will be attending a Planetarium Show. Whilst there, they will also take part in a guided walk starting and finishing at the Museum themed around regeneration.

Students and staff will travel by Metro from Brooklands to the GMEX, they will walk to the metro stations and the Museum.

On Monday 21st June and Tuesday 22nd June students will need to bring a packed lunch with them, they will not be able to purchase food at the Museum.
