WHAT DO WE DO?

We raise money to help the school provide materials, resources and facilities for the benefit of everyone who uses the school. Over the last couple of years we have donated approximately £8,000 per year to the school.

This money has been used to refurbish the KS3 and KS4 quads, to purchase curtains for the main hall and to contribute to the newly installed climbing wall. For our next project, we are raising money to enable the school to provide a new student service area away from the main school entrance lobby.

HOW DO WE DO THIS?

We run a variety of events throughout the school year. These are:

1200 Club: A chance to support your school and also join a lottery! Why not purchase a number or two (£24 each per academic year) and be entered in our monthly draw? As the school has about 1200 members, the club was named in the hope that each parent/guardian would purchase at least one number! For more details of membership, please e-mail pta@salegrammar.co.uk. You may join at any time throughout the year (pro rata).

Car Boot and Table Top Sales: These are regularly held two or three times each calendar year in the school car park and halls. Please keep your eyes open for details of the next event, and remember to come along and support your school. Even better, why not take out a pitch & sell your unwanted goods?

Family Quiz Night: An annual social event where families can compete in a friendly atmosphere.

Annual Raffle: Held every spring to raise funds for the school with prizes donated by local businesses and parents.

SGS Box Office: A chance to buy cheap theatre and music tickets through the PTA
