Rugby School Conference

Dear Parent /Carer,

I am organising a trip for Perspectives on Science students to visit Rugby school on Thursday 11th March for a Science and Ethics conference that is specifically targeted at Perspectives students. The conference will include lectures from keynote speakers, an exhibition of student work from other schools, a talk from the Chief Examiner of Extended Projects on how best to develop their projects and a question and answer session with a panel of guest speakers on topical issues.

Members of staff will drive the students to and from the event in hired transport. The conference itself is free, but we are asking for a voluntary contribution of £6.30 towards the cost of the hire vehicle and fuel. Lunch will be provided on the day, any specific dietary requirements need to be indicated on the reply slip.
