Trafford Inter Cricket Competition

Dear Parents/Carer,

I am pleased to inform you that your son has been selected to represent the school in a Trafford Inter-Cricket Competition, at Bowdon Cricket Club on Monday 5 July 2010. This unique event will also be attended by ex-England Test Captain and wicketkeeper - Alec Stewart.

The pupils will be travelling to the competition by minibus, leaving school at 9.00am. The competition is scheduled to start at 9.30am and finish at 4.00pm. Pupils will meet at the sportshall at the start of period 1 to get changed into their cricket kit and therefore will miss periods 1-5 and afternoon registration. It is advisable to bring some food and drink for the trip and also a warm top and tracksuit bottoms to wear before and after each fixture. Parents are welcome to watch and are encouraged to provide transport home or back to school after the event. A mini-bus will be provided for the return journey if necessary.
