Walkden Gardens

Dear Parent/Carer,

As part of the Buddhism Unit for AS Religious Studies we have been given the opportunity of a tour and explanation of the exquisite Japanese section of Walkden Gardens near the main site of school on Monday 15th March 2010. This visit will give students an insight into the structure of the gardens and the Buddhist principles which lie behind the planning and selection of plants, trees and rocks.

We plan to leave school at 12.05pm by foot and should return in time for lunch.
