Year 13 Magistrates Court

Dear Parent/Carer,

I have arranged for Year 13 A level Sociology students to visit the Magistrates' Courts in Sale on the above dates. The visits are intended to be an integral part of their study of AQA A2 Unit 4 Crime and Deviance. The visits are to enhance students' understanding of the legal processes in England and Wales. Students will only be required to observe court proceedings and selected cases.

Your son/daughter should arrive at the Claremont Centre for morning lessons as normal on the dates above. We will then walk to the Courts on Ashton Lane. Professional dress, as required for normal school attendance, is appropriate for this visit. Students do not need to bring packed lunches as we will be returning to the Claremont Centre at the end of the morning session. It is likely that there will be a short break during the morning and there is a small café on site in the Courts where students will be able to purchase drinks etc.

Letters are in the Adobe PDF format. If you do not have the Adobe Acrobat PDF reader you can download it from here.
