Young Citizens' Action Agenda

We have been invited to take part in The Young Citizens' Action Agenda NW, which promises to be a groundbreaking event for the North West. This is an exciting interactive event that aims to give young people the skills to voice their opinions and empower them to take an active role in society. The event will be attended by politicians and the former political editor from BBC North West and will feature BBC films, interactive voting, debates and interviews with prominent politicians, business people and opinion formers.

The event will take place on Thursday 4th February 2010 at the Opera House, Manchester, starting at 12.30pm, finishing at 4.30 pm. Students will be expected to make their own way unsupervised to and from the venue. Staff will be present at the event and students will be covered by insurance arrange by the school. Although the event is free, students who commit to a place are expected to attend.
