A huge congratulations to the Y7 netball team who fought their way to victory at the Trafford Tournament on Thursday 8th March. The girls had some tough competition in the group stages, managing to beat BTH, Ashton on Mersey and Altrincham Girls Grammar School but just missing out to Loreto Grammar with a 5-3 loss. Nevertheless, they qualified for the semi-finals as runners-up of their group, and went on to beat Flixton Girls’ School with a comfortable 8-1 win, sailing through to the final…against Loreto Grammar! The girls truly brought their ‘A’ game and played an outstanding final, securing a 7-3 win and the Trafford Champions trophy. A very big well done to all of the girls who played.
