Consultation to the admissions arrangements for Sale Grammar School

Please note that any admission authority that wishes to publish or amend its arrangements for admission in 2027 must carry out the required consultation as outlined in the School Admissions Code.

Consultation must be for a minimum of six weeks and must take place between 1 October and 31 January of the school year before those arrangements are to apply. For arrangements which are to apply for entry in September 2027, consultation must be completed by 31 January 2026. The final admission arrangements must be determined annually, whether they have been changed or not, by 28 February in the determination year.

This consultation is published in order to ensure that all interested parties can be aware of, and comment on, the admission arrangements.

We invite you, therefore, to consider and comment on the updated Admissions Policy for 2027, which is now held on the School Website for the duration of the consultation.

The consultation period will begin on Thursday 18th December 2025 and any comments or objections must be received by Thursday 29th January 2026.
