On Thursday 24th March 2016 the annual Sale Grammar School Hindle Cup will take place at Sale Rugby FC, Heywood Road; kick-off is at 7.30pm.

 

The Hindle Cup is an annual rugby match between the current Sale Grammar School First XV and a Sale Grammar School Alumni XV. It bears the name 'Hindle' to commemorate a former PE Teacher at the School, Andy Hindle, who sadly and unexpectedly passed away in March 2006, only months after leaving Sale Grammar School. The money raised from the event supports both sport at Sale Grammar School and the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust.

 

This is always a wonderful event, but this year is particularly significant given that it will be the tenth anniversary of the match. Tickets are £4.00 on the door.
