What is Careers Guidance?

Careers guidance refers to services and activities intended to assist individuals of any age and at any point throughout their lives to make education, training and occupational choices and to manage their careers.

What can it help with?

Exploring where you are now and future Career ideas and aspirations.

Exploring Post 14, 16 and 18 Options (e.g. choosing GCSEs, A Levels, Applied Qualifications, Technical & Vocational Qualifications, Apprenticeships, Degrees, 6th Form/College, University, Employment, Gap Year and Volunteering).

Setting action points to help you get to where you want to be in the future.

Who can access the service and when?

Any student attending Sale Grammar School. It is a free service available on Tuesdays. 

How can I access the service?

To access the service, you can ask the Head of Progress and Learning or speak to the staff at Student Services.
